Calendar, Events & Activities

Celebrating the People and Culture of Our Region

This is a fully functional Google calendar. You can look up dates and view the calendar in daily, monthly, weekly and annual formats. Select a date to see the events scheduled that day. Note the arrows on the ends of each red bar and the +x more below each day's entry. They lead you to additional information. Clicking on an event entry provides a brief description of the event its times and location. Rolling the scroll wheel on a mouse, moves the calendar from month to month.

If you need to find an event, just click on the Calendar+ link in the bottom right hand corner. It directs you to Google Calendar where you can find any event or subject using the search bar. Clicking on "Search My Calendars" gives a list of matching events. Closing the Google Calendar brings you back here.

Finally, you can find any event from Google's primary search page.

One hundred years ago, every group of every kind had its day at the A-Y-P. Railway Men, the American Music Society and farmers. People from everywhere descended upon Seattle to be a part of the fair.

Like the 1909 A-Y-P, the Centennial celebrates a diverse range of people, groups and institutions. Spanning the entire year, and concentrated in the summer months, the Centennial involves scores of contributions from across the region.

Use the A-Y-P Centennial logo in your press releases, websites and promotional materials to help us cross promote and spead awareness about Centennial Celebration programming.
